About This Spot

The pace here naturally slows, inviting you to settle in and appreciate a warm, effortlessly welcoming atmosphere. Whether you find yourself easing into a cozy booth or perched at the lively bar, there’s a genuine sense of community in the air—where familiar faces mix with first-timers drawn by the quiet hum of friendly conversation and carefully poured drinks.
This isn’t a place that rushes you, but instead encourages savoring moments—whether that’s a hearty plate shared with good company or a carefully crafted cocktail that carries a local twist. The kitchen’s approach, evident in dishes like their famously satisfying Reuben or the unexpected delight of fried Brussels sprouts, strikes a balance between comforting familiarity and subtle creativity. It’s food that feels anchored in tradition but made lively by thoughtful details and fresh, local ingredients.

Oh my gosh, we were starving after visited a bunchb9f antique stores but apparently not hungry enough because we could not finish our lunch. The food was amazing, service-impecable, and the restaurant was super cute. You won't be disappointed.

Easily one of the best restaurants in Maine. Fantastic menu choices, delicious food and desserts, generous portions, comes out fresh and hot, it's clean (health inspector here), and it's in a cool small town. What more could you ask for except I wish it was a little closer to Old Orchard Beach .

you can’t skip out on the fried feta or dessert (take it to-go if you’re too full!) but aside from the incredible food we get every time we go… the service and crew that work there make it so we want to keep coming back just call and make a reservation if you’re looking to go during dinner time. we’ll have to come for lunch sometime but i’m sure it’s just as amazing

Great spot, food was delicious and portion sizes are large. The service was fast and very friendly. Engaging bartender and comfortable seating. It was very busy on a Saturday around 5PM and the line only got longer. Drinks are delicious as well

We visited Krista's for dinner after a day of traveling and checking in at the nearby Perkins House for an overnight stay. We were able to get seats at the bar which was fantastic. Service was stellar the entire night. The staff was so friendly, knowledgeable and hard working; a very popular and busy establishment. We had draft Pacifico beers which were nice and cold. We just had to try the baby pork shanks appetizer with zippy peach BBQ sauces served atop fennel and cabbage slaw with grilled peaches. Absolutely splendid dish! For entrees (which includes a salad and focaccia bread) we ordered the herb encrusted prime rib and the chicken saltimbocca. Both were gererous portions. The chicken was moist and flavorful and the mushroom cream sauce was heavenly! The mashed potatoes and fresh veggies went perfectly with this dish. The prime rib was surprisly tough and chewey, but once we notified the staff, they did everything to try to make it right. We finished off with a limocello digestive. We were well taken care of and enjoyed the ambiance of the space and the vibes at the bar. The restaurant and restrooms were spotless. Small parking lot or on street parking. Reservations are strongly recommended as this place fills up fast!

I love this place! Everything they serve is the best! Today I got a Cobb salad with their tomato blue cheese vinaigrette. Yum. I also got an unsweetened ice tea. It was delicious. The service was fabulous.

Great atmosphere in an old house converted to restaurant. Food is very good, salmon was a little dry for my dish but other dishes looked good. Fried Brussel Sprouts for appetizer are unique and awesome. Definitely would go back to try other dishes, was a hard decision to choose.
